We were leafing through a photo album yesterday that we had never seen before. A large Victorian estate appeared about three stories tall. It had numerous windows on all levels with brilliantly colored awnings. The house seemed to be located on many acres by itself out in the country and had its own live in uniformed servants of all things dated to about one hundred years ago. The surrounding area resembled King of Prussia outside Philadelphia and near Bryn Mawr. Nowadays it is full of shopping centers. Then it looked like a farm. In fact a label we managed to find called the place “Maywin Farms”.
So I’m assigning the place to Dora Benley in the Edward Ware Thriller Series. It looks like her kind of place. When she drives with her parents to Bryn Mawr College, this is where she stays. Her mother’s name is Etta May. So “Maywin” can be named after her.
