On the edge of the Ware Hall Estate lay a secret bower like the one shown on www.edwardwarethrillers.org today. It was surrounded by vines and gorse bushes where Edward liked to take Dora. They had all sorts of secrets to share. No one would hear them except a nightjar, a pair of exotic red toadstools, or woodlark from the New Forest in the south of England that surrounded the estate.
