When we went to Santa Fe last month, we decided to make a pirate game of it. Certain members of our party were bored by all the driving, so we told them to watch out for Pirates of the Inland Sea. Apparently the Southwest used to be an Inland Sea in ancient times, so it was an educational exercise, too. When we got to Applebees, I put one of these Pirate flags in the lemon stuck on the iced tea glass. Everyone had to guess what the skull & crossbones meant. We decided it meant that the pirates were headed north on I-25 towards Santa Fe so we'd better head there, too. I bought other pirate props including scarves, a treasure chest, gold doubloons, keys, etc to make our pirate games all the more realistic and fun. If you're planning your own pirate games, you will need them.
